Welcome to Culture – the first of the 5Cs.
Culture is where most jobseekers leave their hiring chances on the table. They walk into the interview not knowing what kind of remote environment they’re walking into, and they leave it not knowing how to convince anyone that they’d add something to the team. Both of those are fixable with structured thinking – which is what this module gives you.
What this module covers
Five lessons, four artefacts that go on your Remote Readiness dashboard:

- 2.3 Demonstrating Cultural Alignment Through Tone – a before / after rewrite of your own writing
- 2.4 Indicating Cultural Contribution – a STAR+V story about cultural value you’ve brought
- 2.R Culture Reflection – your cultural-thrive profile: what helps you thrive, and what would actively not work
By the end of the module, you’ll have a culture-aware front-of-funnel built from real evidence, applied to a real company, in your own voice.
How the 5Cs fit together
Culture is the lens through which the rest of the readiness framework gets evaluated. You can have excellent communication habits and a sharp console setup, but if you can’t read whether a team’s culture supports those habits, you’ll be working uphill from day one. Module 2 builds the cultural literacy that everything else sits on top of.
